Meet Home Check Gurus
Local People. Professional Experience. Your Peace of Mind.
Home Check Gurus was built around something simple: homeowners deserve to have people they trust looking after their home when they can't be there.
As a husband-and-wife team and licensed Florida Realtors, Travis and Rhonda bring local knowledge, real estate experience and a genuine commitment to helping homeowners protect and care for their properties while they're away.
Meet Travis & Rhonda
Rhonda has been a Bradenton resident since 1979 and has deep family roots in the community. Her family's connection to Bradenton goes back to the 1930's, giving her a genuine appreciation for the area and the people who call it home.
As a licensed Florida Realtor, Rhonda brings a personable, organized and detail-oriented approach to Home Check Gurus. She is naturally handy, enjoys taking care of things around the home, and has a knack for keeping everything organized and running smoothly. Her attention to detail and caring personality make her a great fit for helping homeowners feel confident that their property is being looked after while they're away.
Outside of work, Rhonda enjoys fitness, golfing, fishing and the outdoor Florida lifestyle. She also loves spending time with family, friends and the many pets that are part of their life.
Travis has lived in the Bradenton area for more than a decade and has developed deep knowledge of the local communities, homes and unique challenges that Florida homeowners face.
As a licensed Florida Realtor, Travis understands the importance of maintaining a property and identifying potential concerns before they become bigger problems. His background also includes experience with hurricane shutters and other hurricane-protection products and services, giving him additional insight into storm preparation and the needs of Florida homeowners.
Outside of work, Travis enjoys fitness, fishing, golfing, staying active and spending time outdoors. Travis also enjoys family time with Rhonda and their may pets.
Why We Started Home Check Gurus
Through our work in real estate, we've seen firsthand what can happen when a home sits vacant and a small issue goes unnoticed.
A water leak, A/C problem, storm damage, power issue or security concern can quickly turn into an expensive headache when no one is checking on the property.
We created Home Check Gurus to give homeowners a reliable local resource they can trust to keep an eye on their home and communicate when something needs attention.
Experience That Goes Beyond Home Watch
Home Watch is about more than simply walking through a house.
Our experience with Florida real estate, local communities, hurricane protection and homeowner needs allows us to approach every visit with a homeowner's perspective.
We understand that every property is different and that homeowners want someone who will treat their home with care and attention.
Home Check Gurus is proud to be an NHWA Accredited Member of the National Home Watch Association.
We believe professionalism, accountability and clear communication are essential when someone is entrusted with a homeowner's property.
We are also bonded and insured for additional peace of mind.
What We Believe
We believe your home deserves more than an occasional glance.
It deserves consistent attention from people who care.
That's why we focus on professional scheduled Home Watch visits, clear communication and addressing concerns when they are discovered.
When you're away, our goal is simple:
To help protect your home and give you peace of mind while you're gone.
More Than a Business
Home Check Gurus is a family-owned business built on relationships.
Many of the homeowners we serve are seasonal residents, second-home owners, frequent travelers and families who simply want someone local they can count on.
We take that responsibility seriously.
When we're checking your home, we're treating it with the same care and attention we would want for our own.
Your Peace of Mind While You're Away
Whether you're gone for a few weeks, several months or simply travel frequently, Home Check Gurus is here to help you stay connected to your property from wherever you are.
Professional Home Watch. Local Experience. Personal Service.
